Classroom at the Crosses
Classroom at the Crosses is directed to Junior and Senior High School students, Cadets, Girl Guides, Ventures and Scouts. Volunteers are needed for morning, afternoon or evening hot chocolate service. We would ask volunteers to pour the hot chocolate and have the cups ready when the children arrive at the station. Degree of Difficulty:
Light physical activity. Volunteers must be able to stand for the duration of their shift. Though the shift indicates 1 space available we encourage volunteers to bring a helper along as it will be of great assistance when serving these large groups. Please note, this year the Hot Chocolate will be on site ready for you to serve
Duties Include:
- Greet, pour and serve hot chocolate to prearranged student groups, communicating with tour guide in charge as to the exact timing to pour and serve.
- Clean up and remove remaining beverages / trash – leave table and chairs in place.
- Duties are performed outdoors so please dress for the weather.
