Coffee at the Crosses
During the 11 Days of Remembrance, Coffee at the Crosses is held for Corporate Calgary as well as Sponsors of the Field of Crosses. Guests are treated to coffee and cookies amongst the crosses and taken on a tour of the crosses to hear stories of the fallen. Volunteers are needed for morning or afternoon coffee pickup and delivery to the field. Volunteers will require a vehicle. Degree of Difficulty:
Light physical activity. Lifting and carrying. Volunteers must be able to stand for the duration of their shift.
Duties Include:
- Pick up prearranged hot beverage order from downtown Tim Hortons.
- Deliver coffee and supplies to the Field and set up on awaiting table.
- Greet, pour and serve hot beverages and cookies to prearranged guests.
- Clean up and remove remaining beverages / trash.
- While not required, please feel free to bring a helper.
